Leadership Development (Washington Student Leadership)
I get the privilege to help raise up the next generation of Jesus-centered leaders through LD (WSL):

A diverse community of emerging and current leaders committed to exploring life together. We are participants in a movement that engages, connects, and immerses ourselves in the teachings, presence, and work of Jesus. We hope to create dynamic relationships that seek to bring God’s kingdom to the hearts, vocations, and communities of our state, nation, and world. It is our goal to help build leadership centered in the person and principles of Jesus. Click HERE to learn more about how you can get involved.....

My involvement focuses on 3 areas of service.

1. Making Disciples:
I seek to help young adults follow Jesus as His disciples. I do so through one-on-one mentorship, and by leading groups centered on memorizing key passages of scripture. I also am a guest speaker for various ministries seeking to share Jesus with those who do not know him.

2. Empowering Leaders to Disciple Others:

I meet with various community, marketplace, university, and civic leaders to encourage them to consider discipling those younger than them. At each of the four-year universities in Washington State, I help to build localized movements of discipleship. I support the local ministries through counsel, prayer, and providing resources for their students. I also am looking for opportunities to support Christian housing communities like the Vision 16 houses at the University of WA , while helping to bridge emerging and current leaders within each university community.
3. Creating Jesus-Centered Community Events:

I work to create events that bring current and emerging leaders-- both Christian and non-Christian--together to learn how to impact their community in tangible ways. Examples of events include the: Seattle-King County Prayer Breakfast, Centered NW Weekend, the Washington Student Leadership Forum, the Governor's Prayer Breakfast. and the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington DC. As a result of these events, leaders are better prepared to live like Jesus in their relationships, professions, and communities.
